WORKSHOP II - Chaturanga Series
Saturday 28th | 11AM - 1PM | Yab Yum Yoga Victoria Park.
Building on from the knowledge of the Arm Balance fundamentals, this workshop is aimed at building your arm balance practice and beginning to move towards more advanced postures and their variations. In this workshop we will be working towards some of the more complex arm balance postures such as :
Beginning with a warm up centered around the Chanturanga sequence, we will transition into different steps of the series to understand it better. Breaking the key components of the full Chaturanga series can help improve the yoga experience and overall practice.
Bring an open mind and playful heart! We recommend an early breakfast or a light lunch on the day!
WORKSHOP I - Warrior Series
Saturday 21ST | 11AM - 1PM | Yab Yum Yoga Victoria Park.
Sometimes class doesn’t have enough time to go over every detail about your practice, where some flows take strength, flexibility, patience and practice to move comfortably between postures. Knowing a bit more about each Asana can help us understand ourselves better too!
Beginning with a warm up we will transition into posture breakdown and conditioning to execute these postures. We will break down the key components and cues of these poses, and learn how to enter and exit safely.
We will use props, partner work, drills and mat work to assist on this journey and adapt these poses to your practice needs.
